The operator of a vehicle involved in a fatal car crash in Harrisburg early Saturday morning was texting just before the wreck took place. According to Harrisburg Mayor Stephen R. Reed, texting may have played a role in causing the crash.
Cabdriver Michael Amissah and one of his passengers, 28-year-old Kristin Bowser, were killed when Amissah’s cab was struck head-on by a vehicle driven by Andrew Denezza. Denezza was allegedly texting just before his vehicle veered off the road and into Amissah’s cab.
Texting and driving continues to be a lethal combination. Harrisburg accident attorneys can assist those who have been injured as a result of negligent drivers.
